Descripción Responsibilities

Advises on new technologies that will affect business policies, procedures and practices and recommends appropriate changes and areas of future enhancement.

Acts as point of escalation for extremely complex network technology issues, working closely with the teams to resolve issues, drive the root cause analysis, and recommend future improvements
Administration of the technological platform under his charge.
Constant monitoring of the infrastructure.

Daily report of the status of the infrastructure under his charge; in terms of resource consumption, execution of automated processes and assigned tasks.

First and second level support to users. Attending to the requirements of the users of the company coming from the escalation of tickets and technical requests coming from IT projects.
Directly or remotely assist the users of the company with the problems related to the use of IP phone, IP communicator or Cisco Jabber.

Serve as an Intermediary with Internet Services Providers contracted by the company.
Follow the operating procedures and standards implemented in the company.

Attend all training programs for the IT staff.
Maintain reasonable discipline and order in the IT area.
Comply with the tasks and activities assigned by IT General Management.

Availability to work after hours and / or remotely if necessary 

Requisitos Solid knowledge:

Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or graters
Strong understanding of TCP/IP and subnetting
Knowledge of IPV4 and IPV6
2-5 yrs Experience with Cisco IOS, Cisco IOS XR and Cisco IOS XE
Experience Authentication Protocols (Radius, TACACS)
Strong experience with Security (IPSEC / SSL-VPN / NAT /DMVPN / GRE)
Knowledge of Firewall, IDS, IPS, Ant virus, Vulnerability Assessment
Cisco routers and routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP)
Cisco security devices implementation and administration (ASA and FirePower)
Cisco core switching including the Cisco Nexus product line
Cisco Collaboration (CUCM, UCCX, WebEx, IP Phone, Jabber)
Strong ability to independently debug broad, complex, and unique networks with mixed media and protocols required
In-depth knowledge of WAN architecture and technologies (physical and virtual)
Through knowledge of VLAN’s, Spanning tree and Port Security Protocols.

Knowledge of monitoring software (SolarWinds, PRTG, CACTI and SCOM)
